Poverty and homelessness affect a huge number of people in Nepal. According to statistics from the UNDP Human Development Report, 25% of people in Nepal live under $1.25 a day. More than 250,000 people are homeless and 2.8 million (an entire 10% of the Nepali populations) live in slums. The dusty street of Kathmandu is home to countless homeless street men, women, and children.
When you travel to mountains and remote villages of Nepal still you found many families living in a cave and thatched houses made of tree branches and hay. Its the hardest time for the family during rains and storm. Angalo Nepal helps and support the family to build a modern house in partnerships of groups and charity organization.
